Resumen
Introducción: en la actualidad existen diferentes aparatos eléctricos basados en escaneo de texto y programas para computador e Internet, que permite a las personas discapacitadas visualmente leer un texto hablado por audio. Se propone crear un mecanismo lector de textos compuesto por tres elementos principales: láser, fotorreceptores y sintetizador de voz, y que estos materiales agrupados funcionen correctamente. Esta idea pretende fortalecer al individuo en sus procesos de aprendizaje. Método: el estudio se divide en dos fases: la primera está encaminada a encontrar materiales y equipos para la creación del lector, la segunda de tipo experimental, que intentará poner a prueba los materiales del lector y que estos tengan un correcto funcionamiento. Resultados esperados: crear un lector electrónico que reconozca letras de un texto y los descifre por medio de dos sistemas o bloques separados, uno sónico y otro óptico, más económico que los mecanismos ya existentes, portable, de fácil mantenimiento y reparación.

Meletex (reader text mechanism)
Introduction: the Braille was created by Frenchman Louis Braille in middle of the XIX century; it is one of the most used methods for reading for blind people or limited visual people. This gave them the opportunity for knowing better the world, get information and knowledge. There are actually different electric equipments based on text scanners and computer programs or internet which let limited people to read a text by spoken and sound. This idea tends to the individual user become fort in his own learning process. The proposition is crating a text reader mechanism formed by three principal components, laser, photoreceptors and a voice synthesizer system, and that these elements joined can obtain a right operating. Method: the study is divided in two phases, the first is an exploratory type conducted to finding elements and equipments for reader equipment creation, the second type is an experimental which tends to test the reader components and tray to those elements can get the best performance. Expected results: obtaining an electronic text reader which identify the letters on a text by two separated systems, one sound and other optical, and tray to it can be more economical than actual mechanisms, portable, easy for maintenance and repairing. Accessible technology to all people with visual disable, getting better their quality of life as education and a possible entertainment to those people as lecture is.
