Abstract

In “Losing our minds for the benefit of Darwin”, Dennett proposes what he calls the test generation tower. Dennett argues that there are differences in the designs of the brains of animals and ours. These differences in the brains are what make it possible for different agents to carry out the same work but by various means, without implying the superiority of one or another brain. To establish this, the author shows each tower levels (four total) and what are the differences presented together in the design of the brain, distorting theories of several authors that are presented in the text.
